librasterlite2 is a Gaia-SINS geospatial library for storing and retrieving large raster coverages inside SpatiaLite databases.

项目历史

The Gaia-GIS project describes librasterlite2 as a new project intended to replace the older librasterlite while sharing only the same application area. It keeps raster coverages in a SpatiaLite DBMS and ships tools such as rl2tool and wmslite for administration and WMS-oriented access.

RasterLite2 1.0.0 development was funded by Tuscany Region's territorial and environmental information system work, linking the package to regional GIS infrastructure rather than to a generic image-processing library. The project is maintained in a Fossil repository alongside other Gaia-GIS components.
