radioisotope

Plain Text Sentry Auth Token

Sentry CLI can store auth tokens in ~/.sentryclirc under [auth] token. Our isotope stores that config in the macOS keychain and exposes it through a temporary HOME only while `sentry-cli` runs.

Local README excerpt

sentry-cli Radioisotope

Sentry CLI can store an auth token in ~/.sentryclirc.

This radioisotope migrates that global config file into the Automic Vault keychain and wraps sentry-cli so HOME points at a temporary directory with the config only while Sentry CLI runs.

Caveats

  • We currently migrate the global ~/.sentryclirc file only.
  • Project-local .sentryclirc files are not migrated.
  • Direct execution of the original binary will not receive the credentials.
